These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sonora app and website. By downloading or using Sonora, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sonora for your own lawful purposes, subject to these Terms and the App Store terms that apply to your device.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to create content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, infringing, or that impersonates a real person’s voice or likeness without permission.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
- Resell or redistribute the service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Submit prompts or images you do not have the rights to use.
Your content and generated songs
You retain ownership of the prompts, lyrics and images you provide. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and your active plan, you may use the songs you generate with Sonora, including for personal and commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you use generated content and for ensuring it does not infringe the rights of others.
You grant us a limited license to host, process and store your inputs and generated content solely to operate and improve the service.
Subscriptions and billing
- Sonora offers a free tier with limited credits and optional Premium subscriptions (weekly, monthly or annual).
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple.
- Prices and plan features may change; we will give notice where required.
Credits
The free tier includes a limited number of credits for song generation. Availability of free credits may change over time.
Intellectual property
The Sonora app, brand, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
Sonora is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or unexpected, and we do not guarantee that any specific result will be produced.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
